I founded SAGOL PERFORMANCE because I have a passion for transforming people into the best/healthiest shape of their life

As someone who experienced both anorexia and obesity in my youth, I experienced how well structured exercise plan increases the quality of life when combined with a quality nutrition plan. I witnessed that the combine of frequent workout plan and well structured nutrition plan make people’s life extremely healthy not only physically but also mentally.

I got my Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Weight Loss Specialist certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and over 10 years we have been working with many of my clients to improve their quality of life.

I am based in Toronto, Canada but was born in Turkey and I am more than happy to serve clients with in-person and online training with nutrition guidance.

As a trainer, I believed that the exercises should be first and foremost, fun. So your specialized weightloss program is tailored to you. 

Now, when it comes to reaching your goals, there is no other way but consistency. You may lose your motivation from time to time, but if you are consistent, you will stick to the plan no matter what. My primary goal for my clients is to create a program that fits into your lifestyle creating a sense of purpose and therefore, discipline. I will always give you my 110% to hold you accountable and motivated for your progress and expect the same from you. With our teamwork, success is certain.

What I expect from you

You are expected to commit to our training program and show up to each session ready to work. You may need to be open to changes in your goals as the coaching process evolves. I am not judgemental but dedicated. To that end, I will ask the tough questions and expect the tough answers in order for growth to take place both personally and professionally, but only as it pertains to your fitness goals. However, you do maintain the right to decide what topics to cover and to terminate a subject if you don’t want to discuss it

I will listen to you and your desires and work within that guideline as much as possible. Your workouts will be outlined in advance of each month so you are aware of what is expected for each program. The goal for your feedback of each workout is to work through setbacks you may have, clarify goals through exercises and find ways to move forward on goals with you, i.e. creating action items.

Hello, I am Övgü Doğruyol, a Registered Nutritionist, specializing in sports nutrition. As an ex-professional athlete competing on the Turkey National Fencing Team, I am proud to have won many championships and awards in my sport. Currently, I serve as a national referee in fencing and am honored to continue contributing to the sport I love.

In my practice, I focus on sports nutrition, aiming to develop personalized programs and nutrition routines tailored to specific weight loss programs. We start by thoroughly analyzing your current diet, lifestyle, and activity levels. From there, I design a custom meal plan to help you reach your goals efficiently and sustainably.

The process involves 1 initial session and 3 follow-up assessments, all conveniently conducted through WhatsApp. After each session, I provide comprehensive reports on your progress and make sure to address any questions or concerns you may have. Additionally, I offer daily meal monitoring to ensure your nutritional needs are met effectively.

With my expertise and dedication to optimizing sports performance through nutrition, I am here to support you on your journey to achieving your weight-loss goals.
